Action Funding Program - Health and Human Services– The Department
of Human Services distributes funds, through
a grant application process, to not-for-profit
community social service agencies that address

Summer
Food Program - Health and Human Services– Nutritious school meals
are maintained during the summer for low-income,
school-age children participating in summer
recreation programs. Local vendors prepare
and deliver breakfasts, lunches and afternoon

Mental
Health Funding - Health and Human Services– Approximately $2.2 million
is appropriated and distributed annually on
a reimbursement basis to several not-for-profit
agencies providing alcohol abuse, substance

Domestic
Violence Partnership - Health and Human Services - The Department of
Health and Human Services distributes funds via contractual
agreements with local domestic violence agencies
for the purpose of prevention, counseling
and support services for victims of domestic
violence. Staffing for various functions,
including partnerships through the office
of the State Attorney, the Visitation Centers
and shelter services are provided.
