County's Geographic Information System (GIS)
– Information Technology - The Pinellas
County GIS Division provides advanced geospatial technology tools and data to a wide range of Pinellas County government departments, agencies and citizens. The County’s GIS data repository includes countywide high definition aerial images, road network, property and parcel fabric, land use, zoning evacuation levels and demographic data. A wide range of commercial GIS desktop tools are made available for use by County employees. Citizens are able to access the County’s GIS resources via the County’s website at: http://gis.pinellascounty.org.

Communications/Radio Systems - The Pinellas County Public Safety/800 MHZ Radio and Data System employs state-of-the-art technology and equipment and provides communications for all public safety agencies in Pinellas County. The system consists of ten operational
sites interconnected by a digital microwave
system, providing countywide coverage
using hand-held radios. Learn how this system
benefits all Pinellas County residents.
