Ronnie Duncan is a successful businessman and community leader with deep roots in Pinellas County.

He is the founder and President of The Duncan Companies, Inc. a Tampa Bay based commercial real estate firm.

Ronnie is also a volunteer leader in numerous organizations committed to improving the quality of life in Pinellas County, Tampa Bay and the state of Florida.

  • Former Member - Business Advisory Board for Florida Atlantic University and former member of the professional teaching faculty of NOVA University, Davie.
  • Former Advisory Board Member of The Daily Bread Food Bank of South Florida, insuring that all citizens have access to adequate food and nutrition.
  • Active participant in Florida Chamber of Commerce
  • Member of the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce.
  • Appointed by Governor Bush as a member of the Full Cost Accounting Task Force, established to create and implement a fiscal impact assessment model for Florida development.
  • Former Member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Vice President of Public Affairs for the State of Florida Chapter and former member of the Tampa Bay Board of Directors of NAIOP.
  • Founding Trustee, NAIOP National Education Foundation.

  • Involved in development of major properties and lease transactions throughout the southeast including: Brickell Bay Office Tower – Miami; Miami International Park; One Nashville Place Tennessee and Poydras Plaza – New Orleans.
  • Executive Vice President of Grubb & Ellis of Florida, Inc.
  • Leasing Manager with Oliver Realty, Inc. (a Grubb & Ellis Company) in Pittsburgh.

  • Recipient of the “10 Also Cares” Award for Water Stewardship by WTSP-TV (Channel 10) Tampa Bay.
  • National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) "Building the Bridge" National Award for creating understanding and education between the development community and the political and natural resources at the chapter, state and federal levels.
